The apartment consists of three large volumes that are fixed and separated by load-bearing walls. Similar to the arenas and ancient houses that characterize this Roman city in Occitania, there is a central point towards which everything converges: the living room. This space is connected to the entrance, allowing for a seamless connection to the kitchen/dining area and the bedroom/bathroom.
The vertical perception of these 5-meter-high volumes is accentuated by the contrast with the passages, which have a height of 2.10 meters and are highlighted by large doors made of black elm.
An 8-meter-long wall covered in Versailles marble enriches the living room and provides access to the private area of the house, the night area, consisting of a bedroom, a bathroom, and a terrace.
A black elm wood headboard separates the Poliform wardrobe from the leather-clad bed. A French door leading to a spacious terrace offers a view of the historic buildings in the city center.
Crossing a narrow passage, one immerses oneself in the tranquility of a bathroom that appears to be carved into the rock.
The bathroom, adorned with gray sandstone, features a bathtub, a spacious shower, and two sinks, all designed by Agape. The faucets and towel warmer, crafted by Vola, come in a matte black finish, adding an elegant and refined touch to the room.

A window pierces the wall of these small toilets, diffusing an enigmatic light and creating a contrast with the anthracite-colored sandstone that adorns the room.
The terrace is delineated by a series of metal planters. The view of the city's historic buildings contrasts beautifully with the lush greenery of the plants. Outdoor sofas provide a space for relaxation in a charming and timeless environment.
The access to the kitchen/dining area is through a custom-crafted, massive block made of black elm. This ingenious design seamlessly integrates various storage units, appliances, and display cabinets while maintaining a discreet yet iconic appearance that aligns with the rest of the project. A professional kitchen with wood and white quartzite elements, a central island, and a dining area complete the space.

Within the expansive kitchen space, a distinct transition leads to the dining area, featuring a large and iconic black marble table designed by Angelo Mangiarotti. On the backdrop, an artist's reproduction depicts a work by Picasso, adding an artistic touch to the setting.

For this exceptional apartment, SCALA successfully achieved the challenge of harmoniously connecting three large volumes that were separated by load-bearing walls. The remarkable contrast between the volumes, with their impressive 5-meter-high ceilings, and the passages - enhanced by carefully chosen materials and intricate details - that connect them, gives the apartment a true uniqueness.
A rich and precious collection of design objects fills every space, adding to its allure.
